The almond is a species of tree native to the Middle East, India and North Africa. Oil content in almonds ranges between 47 and 61%. The cold-pressed oil contains high amounts of vitamin E and is low in saturated fats. Almond oil can be used to dress cold foods or to drizzle over a cooked dish.
